Debit Card

We accept all New Zealand issued Debit Cards

Credit Cards

Please Note: We Apply a Surcharge to payments made using a credit card, which is in line with our cost of acceptance.

Security codes

The card security code is a unique three or four digit number printed on the front (American Express) or back (MasterCard/Visa etc.) of your card, in addition to the account number

 

Troubleshooting Payment Errors

  • If your card is new or recently reissued, make sure it has been activated.
  • Remove dashes or spaces from the account number.
  • If everything seems to be correct, call the card issuer's customer service. Your credit card company may need to speak with you before they authorize your purchase.

Uniform Club

NZ Uniforms offer parents an opportunity to join our Uniform Club.

The Uniform Club works by allowing you to add payments to a Uniform Club card, which can then be redeemed for goods at any NZ Uniforms retail outlet. The Uniform Club helps you save for your child's School Uniform throughout their school journey.

Join our Uniform Club and we'll encourage your savings for your child's School Uniform. By becoming a Uniform Club member you will receive a 10% discount off purchases made using your card on a great range of products like Jansport Bags, the Code Sport range, Doc Martens, Vans & Ascent Shoes.

How does it work: 

Zip is a buy now, pay later service that allows you to split a purchase into installments, typically 25% upfront and the rest over three interest-free fortnightly payments. 

To use it, you sign up online or through the app, get approved, and then select Zip as your payment method at checkout for online purchases or generate a QR code for in-store purchases.

You pay back the balance through your linked debit or credit card according to the repayment schedule.  

In-store Purchases

  • To shop in-store, once logged in navigate to "in-store" and create an in-store QR code which is presented at checkout
  • Once the QR code is scanned at checkout you will need to approve the purchase on your mobile. The first 25% payment is charged at checkout

Online Purchases

  • Shop online like you normally would
  • Once at checkout. Select Zip as your Payment option
  • Then follow the next steps on screen

Zip - How it works

Afterpay works by splitting a purchase into four equal installments, with the first payment due at checkout. The remaining three payments are then paid over six weeks

Afterpay is currently only Available for In-store Purchases.

  • Just like any other digital card, when you are ready to pay in-store, select the Afterpay Card in your digital wallet and tap to pay with Apple Pay or Google Pay.
  • It is safe, easy, and contactless!

Online Purchases Using Afterpay are not currently available.

Afterpay

How does it work

Blink payment, or BlinkPay, allows customers to pay merchants directly from their bank account through a secure, real-time process that uses open banking.

The customer selects their bank at checkout, is redirected to their bank's secure portal to approve the payment, and is then returned to the merchant's site.

This method bypasses the need to share credit card details and avoids surcharge for card payments

How to Get a WINZ Quote

  1. Online (Best Option)
    • Add the uniforms you need to your cart on our website.
    • Use your best guess for sizes (you can change these later).
    • Proceed to Checkout
    • At checkout, choose “Request WINZ Quote”.
    • Download or print your quote.
    • Give the quote to your WINZ case manager.
  2. WINZ Payment
    • WINZ will usually load money onto your green card or give you a WINZ payment voucher.
    • Green cards and vouchers can only be used in-store, not online.
    • If you want to order online, ask your case manager to pay NZ Uniforms by bank transfer.
  3. Come In-Store to Collect
    • Bring your WINZ green card or voucher and your quote to the store.
    • Try on uniforms to check sizes.
    • Pay at the counter with your green card or voucher and take your uniforms home.

Need a Quote In-Store?

  • Come straight to the counter. We’ll give you a quick quote using estimated sizes—no need to try on yet. You can try on and change sizes after your WINZ payment is approved.

Important:

  • Don’t try on uniforms until your WINZ payment is ready.
  • Green cards and vouchers can’t be used online.
  • Uniforms are only given out after payment is received.
