It’s a popular belief that school uniforms make life easy. For parents, this is probably true. But if you’re in charge of organising uniforms for your school, ‘easy’ is not a word that springs to mind.
Hopefully we can change that.
Our company, NZ Uniforms, makes school uniforms. We have the largest range of ex stock school uniform product in New Zealand.
But what we really make, we believe, is your life easy
We do this in many ways. We can retail direct to parents or we can wholesale to the school uniform shop. We hold and fund stock whether it’s for retail or wholesale. We give each school its own webshop so that parents can order online. We have our own shops, 16 stores nationwide open 6 days – our stores with our name on them – where we stock, fit and sell the uniforms. We accept Zip, WINZ and all major credit cards. We also have our own ‘Uniform Club’ to help parents save towards their purchase. And in towns where we don’t have a shop, we provide a free set of size samples to each school so that parents view them and then buy online.
Those are the mechanics but uniforms, as you know, are a lot more than a mechanical process. They’re matters of pride, for the school and the children who wear them.
So we make sure your uniforms are right. We have three fashion designer who help with concepts and tweaks to make sure you get the uniform you want. We can provide for the out-of-ordinary sizings and we have an easy return policy for size exchanges.
And we guarantee our product and delivery times.

Our Services
To make life easy when comes to organising uniforms for your school we offer a range of services to ease the process.
We can retail direct to parents or we can wholesale to the school uniform shop. We hold and fund stock whether it’s for retail or wholesale.
We give each school its own webshop so that parents can order online.
We have our own shops, Over 20 stores nationwide open 6 days – our stores with our name on them – where we stock, fit and sell the uniforms.
We accept Zip, WINZ and all major credit cards.
We also have our own ‘Uniform Club’ to help parents save towards their purchase.
In towns where we don’t have a shop, we provide a free set of size samples to each school so that parents view them and then buy online.

NZ Uniforms offer a no obligation uniform review of your uniform by our own in-house fashion designers
Our designers want your brand and ethos to be reflected in all your garments.
Our wider Design and Procurement team works closely to make sure fabrics, trims, and patterns all align with your image
Our Retail Service
NZ Uniforms currently have over 21 retail stores nationwide with plans to open many more.
Our uniform stores are open Monday to Friday and Saturdays with extended hours during January to accommodate the back to school period.
We can provide a pop up store service throughout the country to complement our retail stores.
Our team know your uniform requirements and are familiar with all uniform policies.
NZU School Uniform Shop (SUS)
Campus Uniform Stores.
We can run your school uniform shop from the school campus and provide the stock, staffing, changing rooms and everything else you would expect to find in a shop.
The school provides the room and we do everything else. This is a popular service where we may not have a NZU store nearby to the school.
It is a full retail service and your parents have access to all our retail services like uniform club, Zip and WINZ quotes
*It is important to remember this service is only available on a needs only basis where we do not have a store within reasonable proximity (to be determinded by NZU).
Our School Web Stores
We provide over 200 individual web stores for our schools.
All our uniform partner have their own online web store, which means you can place uniform orders at any time, day or night.
Each customer has its own URL displayed at nzuniforms.com that can be linked to your own website.
A Live chat service is available during business hours if you need help while shopping online
You may like to shop instore for your inital uniform purchase and then use the online store for top-ups or extras.
This option is a complement to our retail stores and works very well for the schools in more remote locations, or busy parents. There is phone and chat support available to online customers.
Our Wholesale Service
Whether you need a new uniform designed, want to introduce a uniform into your school, or are looking for a new supplier, we can help.
How does this work?
NZ Uniforms will work with your school to understand its roll size, school colours and branding.
We then manufacture the uniform and hold it free of charge in our warehouse.
Your uniform shop staff can then draw down when needed. We also provide you with a web portal so you can check your stock levels in our warehouse at any time.
Our warehouse staff will send your uniform order to the school within 48 hours.
We can buy your existing stock from your current supplier if you move to NZ Uniforms.
Dedicated Account Manager and Designer
A dedicated Account Manager will work directly with your school to ensure an easy hassle free delivery service.
We will also assign to your school one of our designers who can help with fabric selection, styling and the overall look and functionality of your uniform.
Your Account Manager will help you with:
- Sampling
- Showing products
- Setting up logos
- Defining your uniform range
- General account management
- Stock control
- Sponsorship
Retail School Uniform Service
NZ Uniforms currently has over 15 full retail stores and 1 on campus retail store throughout New Zealand.
We are very proud to be local retailers in most main centres providing accessibility and convenience to families.
Our Retail School Uniform Service allows your school to focus on what you do best – education – leaving the funding, stocking and management of your school uniform to us.
The responsibility and operation of our retail shops is solely that of NZ Uniforms and the retail staff are employed by NZ Uniforms.
We appreciate that we are representing your school brand and ensure that our staff are fully trained in your uniform policy and requirements.
To complement the retail service, we also build and manage a uniform web shop to allow your families to order online 24/7.
Your school has a dedicated Retail Store Manager, National Retail Manager and a wholesale Sales and Account Manager as part of our service along with access to our design team and their full design or range review services.
We provide you with our CREDO portal giving you full access to your stock on hand, sales, account and statement information.
Your school community enjoys all of the benefits of a full uniform retail service plus more.
Our stores are open 6 days a week with parking onsite or close by.
Families can take advantage of our Uniform Club, our Zip payment option, and phone, email or Chat support from our Customer Service team.
We also provide quotes for WINZ/MSD and charities for families who require this.
We use a uniform checklist in store to ensure each student is fitted in the correct uniform.
Online orders can be delivered direct to either a home or business address or to Click and Collect from their nearest retail store.

School Uniform Shop Service
Our School Uniform Service provides qualifying schools with a NZ Uniforms full retail service, in an area where we do not have a retail store.
Our retail shop is onsite at your school campus in a location that works for you, your families and NZ Uniforms.

Our School Web Shop Service allows for many of the benefits to your school that accompany our full retail service.
Your uniform items are funded, stocked, managed and despatched to your parents by NZ Uniforms.
We build and manage your uniform web shop linked to your school’s website.
Your school has a dedicated NZ Uniforms Sales and Account Manager and access to our design team and their full design or range review services.
We provide you with our CREDO portal giving you full access to your stock on hand, sales, account and statement information.
We also provide a uniform selection for the school to allow parent to try before they order online.
The benefits to your school community of our School Webshop Service include our Uniform Club, our Zip payment option where payment can be made over four instalments, and phone, email or Chat support from our Customer Service team.
Your parents and whanau can choose to have their uniform delivered direct to their home, business or to the school for collection.
The key benefit to you of our School Webshop Service is that our pricing to you is at wholesale.
You decide what retail price you want to sell each uniform item to your school community for and you retain any margin between the NZ Uniforms wholesale price and your retail price thereby serving the specific needs of your community.

Wholesale Shop Service
If your school has its own school uniform shop, NZ Uniforms can provide a wholesale service to you.
NZ Uniforms can fund, source and warehouse your uniform items so that they are available for draw down by you when you require them.
You remain in complete control of the quantities ordered based on your school shop’s sales data.
Your school will have a dedicated Sales and Sponsorship Manager who can assist with the ordering process, work with you on any product ranging and sampling and will meet with you on a regular basis.
You will also have access to our design team and their full design or range review services should you require a uniform update or refresh.
We build and manage your wholesale website enabling you to order online deliveries of your warehouse stock, and we also provide you with our wholesale CREDO portal giving you full access to your stock on hand, sales, account and statement information.
